We are an independently owned restaurant situated in Yeronga, a leafy riverside suburb located within inner-city Brisbane. We are famous for our pizzas and our creations pay homage to authentic Neapolitan pizzas from the days of old. In fact, the “1760” part of our name is a tribute to the year when the first commercial restaurant, using a wood fired oven, opened in Naples. Our food philosophy
We love food! And whether it is traditional Italian or modern gourmet versions of the classics, we believe the key is in creating dishes from fresh house-made ingredients.
Pizza dough is prepared fresh every day and each thin crust pizza is baked to perfection in a wood fired oven. Fresh vegetables used as toppings on our pizzas, and as ingredients in other dishes, are all roasted in-house. Every single one of our dishes is made fresh, i.e. “on demand” – while this may take a little bit longer we believe the difference is in the taste.
We check and taste our food ourselves. All the time.
Similar to our food philosophy, we’re always searching for new and innovative products and aim to promote and support local business. In addition to the “usual” soft drinks we also offer fruit juices and Bundaberg soft drinks.
We do not have a liquor licence, but as a BYO venue (note that corkage charges apply) we encourage you to bring your favourite wine or beer along to complement your dining experience … after all, what’s better than a pizza with a beer? Perhaps some pasta with a red wine …
If you have any questions or queries on how we prepare our food, we are more than happy to spend time with you, just ask.
We have built a loyal customer base that enjoy our mix of simple, yet innovative food. Don’t just take our word for it – check out the reviews on Urbanspoon and TripAdvisor:
